![]() Studio staff who have been employed for several years have not received any raise, and have also witnessed the company remove opportunities to earn additional money and change shift policy so they receive the same pay for working more hours. While it's more than understandable that a company should keep its own interests (especially finances) at heart, it's painful when it begins to affect the income of studio staff. Most company policies that trickle down to staff are about saving as much money as possible. The company is transparent about their concern for finances. ![]() The only complaint about this job is the disconnect between the higher-ups and studio staff. The artists are compensated nicely in shift pay and the hours are great if you have a day job or are in school, or even both - outside of weekends, you have quite a bit of freedom in designating your availability. The work can be challenging, especially on sold-out nights and long weekends working 12+ hours on your feet, but it's also very rewarding. ![]() The people you work with every day become so much more than just your co-workers, they quickly become your friends and inspirations that drive you closer to becoming the artist you want to be. Coming into work on a daily basis is a pleasure.
